Hi, my name is Gina Om.
I am a designer that values empathy led, insight driven innovation. This includes producing insightful design research, discovering untapped market opportunities, and conducting future trends analysis. I like to use my design and making skills combined with my strategic, systems-level approach to design for the future and solve complex problems.
I believe my set of past experiences contribute to my ability add value to organizations in a variety of ways. Before attending ArtCenter's Graduate Industrial Design program, I obtained my undergraduate degree in Engineering, with a concentration in Biomechanics from Virginia Tech. During that time I also played Division 1 Varsity College Soccer for the school as well. Upon graduation I worked as a consultant for a number of years, gaining experience in strategic consulting, future forecasting, and operational design. It is this diverse experience of mine that gives me a unique perspective that strengthens my ability to design and innovate.
